Carol A. Still was the owner and artistic director of Carol’s Academy of Dance for 32 years. She is a graduate of William Penn High School (Harrisburg, Pa) & Central Pennsylvania Business College (Harrisburg, Pa.) Carol studied at Jane’s School of Dance in Harrisburg, Pa. during her childhood with such great dance professionals as Jane Miller Smith, Jack Stanley, Joseph Levinoff, Jack Potteiger and Marcia Dale Weary . After college, Carol studied with many dance professionals from New York & LA such as Joe Tremaine, Joe Lanteri, Doug Caldwell, Frank Hatchett, Mark Goodman, Lori Johnson, Desiree Robbins and Joelle Martinec to name a few. Her students have performed nationally and internationally through the years. Many of her students have gone on to be great dance educators & performers across the country. The competitive teams won national & regional competitions through the years and was voted one of the best studios in Lancaster County. She also choreographs for local theatres, high school musicals and show choirs. She currently is teaching tap at Willow Valley Communities. Her performing group, The Willow Valley Tappers, recently performed at the Fulton Opera House during the Fulton Follies this year. She is pleased to be teaching at Premiere Danse Academy & looking forward to meeting everyone.
